St. Moritz ski trip packing list for families

St. Moritz pairs strong mountain sun with dressy village evenings, so your bags need to handle both. This list covers the altitude, sun and après details that make a family ski week in the Engadin easy.

Kristina's notes on St. Moritz Ski

  1. St. Moritz is famous for sunshine, and the dry, high-altitude air surprises people. I pack strong sunscreen, SPF lip balm and a good moisturizer for the kids, and we all drink more water than usual the first few days.
  2. Evenings here lean dressy, so I pack one polished outfit per person for dinners in town. Warm, good-looking snow boots matter more than heels on icy village streets.
  3. Corviglia is the main family mountain, with gentle runs and a ski school base up top. Book lessons early for February, and take the Glacier Express or Bernina line one afternoon if the kids need a break from skiing.
