St. Anton ski trip packing list for families

St. Anton is known for big snowfall and serious terrain, so families do well to pack for cold storms and long ski days. This list covers the Arlberg extras that keep kids warm and comfortable.

Kristina's notes on St. Anton Ski

  1. St. Anton has a train station right in the village, which makes arriving from Zurich or Innsbruck easy with kids. Pack in rolling bags you can lift on and off a train.
  2. The mountain leans steep, so I keep beginners and young kids on the gentler Nasserein side and in ski school's kids' areas. Strong skiers in the family will love the rest.
  3. St. Anton is known for lively après-ski, and the slopes near the village get busy in the late afternoon. I plan to be off the mountain a little earlier with younger kids.
