Casa de Campo packing list for families

Casa de Campo feels like a resort town, with polo, golf, horseback riding, and the beach all in one place. Packing for sun, sport, and a few nicer dinners covers it.

Kristina's notes on Casa de Campo, DR

  1. Casa de Campo is huge, and families get around by golf cart. I pack sun hats and lightweight long sleeves for those rides, because the sun is strong even with the cart's roof.
  2. There is so much to book, from kids' horseback riding and tennis to boat days and Altos de Chavón. I set up a few activities before we arrive, then leave the afternoons open for the pool and Minitas Beach.
  3. Every traveler needs to complete the free Dominican Republic eTicket online before flying in and out. I do it for the whole family a few days ahead and save the QR codes to my phone.
