30A Florida packing list for families

Days on 30A revolve around the beach, the bike path, and walking into town for ice cream. A little planning for bikes, sand, and sun makes the whole week feel easy.

Kristina's notes on 30A & Rosemary Beach

  1. Bikes are the best way to get around 30A. Florida requires riders under 16 to wear a helmet, so bring your own if your kids are picky about fit.
  2. Watch the beach flags. Rip currents are common on the Gulf here, and double red means the water is closed.
  3. Most beachfront rentals and resorts offer chair and umbrella service. Reserve it ahead for summer and spring break weeks.
