Tokyo Disney Resort packing list for families

Tokyo Disney Resort feels familiar and completely new at the same time, from the parade etiquette to the seasonal snacks. A few Japan-specific items make long park days smoother for the whole family.

Kristina's notes on Tokyo Disney Resort

  1. Park tickets are date-specific and sold online, and weekends and holidays can sell out. Buy them as soon as your dates are set, and plan your park days for weekdays if you can.
  2. Japanese guests often bring a small picnic mat to sit on while they wait for parades and shows. I pack one for our family too, because it makes the wait so much more comfortable for little legs.
  3. Japan's outlets fit two-prong US plugs, but many have no slot for a third grounding prong. Pack a small two-prong adapter for any charger that has three.
