Singapore packing list for families

Singapore is one of the easiest Asian cities for families, but heat, humidity, and icy air conditioning mean you pack for two climates at once. Here is my list and the best months to go.

Kristina's notes on Singapore

  1. It is hot outside and very cold inside. I pack a light cardigan for every family member for malls, museums, and the MRT.
  2. Some prescription meds, including certain ADHD medications, need approval from Singapore's Health Sciences Authority before you travel. Check well ahead and carry prescriptions.
  3. Plan outdoor sights early and late, and save midday for indoor attractions or the pool. The Night Safari is a great fit for kids who are still jet-lagged.
